- I could hold my baby all day long and never grow tired of it.
- I stare at my baby while she sleeps sometimes (okay, ALL the time) to make sure she is breathing.
- I'm a bit on the overprotective side with her, and don't like her to be out of my sight. She'll love this when she's sixteen though, right?
- I get sad everytime she makes a sad face with her bottom lip.
- I sit in the backseat next to her to make sure she is cool enough and the sun isn't in her eyes, oh...and to be on binky patrol since you know, when that binky falls out, you have about 5 seconds to reinsert. True story.
- I bug my sister and husband ALL the time about medical-related symptoms I see (or think I see anyway).
- I spend extra time with her after the early morning feedings just because I am still soaking in the fact that God gave her to Keith and me to love and take care of.
- I find it amazing that God instilled this sense of love & protection in not only humans, but animals too.
So I know some of these may be over the top to some, But...I'm convinced she is only little once, and so it is perfectly normal for me to be like this. I'll keep telling myself that anyway. ; )
