16/17 Months

Kason,

Oh goodness, your little personality is really coming out, and it is such a joy to watch. You are as sweet as they come, and as stubborn as they come. Your little independent self is constantly striving to do whatever your big sister does. You even refuse to sit in a highchair at home now. No booster seat either...your tiny little head peeking over the table to see and reach your food makes me laugh every time!

Your favorite word these days? No! I can't help but think it is adorable when you say it while shaking your head and looking directly at me. Pretty funny coming from a little guy who thinks he is 13. ; )
You aren't just feisty though. You are also a snuggly little bear. When you ask us to pick you up (hold you), we tell you to lay down and you rest your little head on our shoulder...melts us every time!

We all love to hear you laugh. Lexi is a pro at it, especially in the car. Speaking of the car, you still hate being restrained. You do pretty good, but any length of time in the car seat, and you are not happy with us. You love being outside and swinging in the green swing, swimming, sliding, running, riding in the car, attempting the tricycle, and playing with your trucks in the sand.

My favorite word you say? Okay...it sounds a lot like "O-tay!" It might be the cutest thing I have ever heard!! Love it!! Your favorite person? PopPop...you walk into Nana's and Pop Pop's house and start saying, "Pop Pop, Pop PoP???" So sweet. You also love Nana, Gus, and Cody. Cody throws you in the air, and you give him an additional workout each day. Your favorite foods are chicken, bananas, oranges, yogurt, pretzels, french toast, strawberries, and steak.

You love tractors, trucks, cars, and balls...definitely all boy. We bought you a tractor book because you would not let go of it in the store, and you hadn't even had that thing for a week before the wear started to show on it. It makes sounds and you imitate those so much that you made your voice a little hoarse. Haha! You hear us count so often that you attempt to do the same and it is hilarious!

We can't wait to see what else you do in the coming weeks, months, and years. It is such a blessing to watch you learn and grow, and we are so excited God chose us to be your parents. We love you little Kasonator.

XOXO,

Mommy, Daddy, & Lexi
